A SUPERIOR KJV IN ALL RESPECTS
"The Cameo Reference Bible by Cambridge Press is an excellent choice if you want a quality KJV that is going to be used, carried and cherished. First, the Calf-skin leather cover is second to none. It requires no breaking in and it lays flat and easily open on the first use. Unlike some of the horribly cheap leather used in Thomas Nelson or Zondervan Bibles the Cambridge Calfskin cover will stand up to prolonged use. Second, the 8 Point type is large enough to be read without eye strain and is not too big to prevent the Bible to be easily carried in a gymbag or purse (not that I carry a purse - I am just making an example). Also the type used is a older style that has the charm and nostalgia of the Bibles of the 19th century - it is pleasing to the eye. Third, the India Paper makes turning pages a pleasure and a pain free experience. As some of you have discovered some cheaper bibles use low-quality paper that bends, creases, and tears easily over long term use. The India paper used in this Bible is durable and will hold up to hard wear. Lastly, if you are a KJV purist you will be pleased to know that this King James Bible text is the superior 1769 Oxford Standard Edition. This edition is THE DEFINITIVE EDITION of the King James Bible as it bore the fruition of years of scholarship and textual refinement. Some of the modern American corrupt and violated versions of the KJV that have been "updated" and "Americanized" by some publishers have unsound and biased spelling and punctuation.
